Hmm, just to be safe, let’s go into some detail…

For the “Attribution” part, I’m supposed to specify how I’d like things attributed to me, so here goes: In text, a link to the specific page of the site which the work appears on would be ideal, or at a minimum, a link to http://tinkernet.org/ would do. In audio, please say “tinkernet dot org” and if you want to spell out each letter, feel free to do so. In video, please show a frame for at least 2 seconds that has tinkernet.org somewhere on it, at a somewhat readable size. Any questions, contact me.

For the “Non-Commercial” part, if the content you create far outweighs the advertisements surrounding it, and you’re only making a few hundred U.S. dollars (or equivalent) per year in a commercial sense, then I consider that non-commercial. If you make enough to markedly improve your standard of living, then you are probably doing better off that I am, and I would appreciate your sharing of the wealth, so contact me about a commercial license. (This goes for commercial enterprises as well, I’m more than willing to discuss licensing terms and fees, just contact me.)

For the “Share Alike” part, do something creative, and let me know about it, ok? Cool…

(Note: If you completely disagree with what I have said above, and feel I am incorrectly interpreting what a Creative Commons license is meant to do, then disregard what I have written, and we will eventually find out what is right in a court of law.)

If you’d like to use my work under some other license, feel free to contact me, and we’ll work something out.
